With a vast array of gun dog dummies available, which increases every year. What gundog training dummies should you be using for your gun dog?
When starting out with our own gundog puppies, we might simply use a lightweight paint roller to begin with moving on to a 100 gram puppy dummy as below.
Then as pups strength and confidence grows we move on to a more conventional long throw dummy pictured below. Available in a range of colours, which when you think about how differently dogs see colour to us, makes for a range that can be utilised more fully as the dog matures and uses its nose more.
