How Can I Get My Dog To Come When Called?

How can I get my dog to come when called?

With a dog that pulls on a lead, many simply let it off, with no reliable recall! Well to be honest if the dog has no desire to listen or be encouraged to show self control on a lead, take that lead off and its game over for a reliable recall !!

Have you yelled at your dog when its come back in its own time ?
Have you told the dog off as its come back to you?
Have you failed to take with you a suitable reward for your dog coming back when you call them?
Have you failed to do everything you can to prevent the dog going wrong?

Chances are the answers to at least one or two of the above are 'Yes'

So what Next?

In the first instance book an initial 121 with Steve. Steve will go through whats going wrong (without any judgement) set your dog up for success and then show you how to repeat the training which Steve shows you.
